- Mentor junior staff members and guide them in improving their teaching skills
- Oversee the department's academic performance and contribute to the improvement of board results
- Conduct regular assessments and evaluations to ensure student progress
- Prepare and submit reports on departmental activities and student performance
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall academic environment of the institution
- Attend and participate in departmental and school-level meetings
- Take charge of the History library and ensure that it is well-maintained and up-to-date
- Organize and conduct educational trips and excursions for students
- Participate in extracurricular activities and events related to History
Eligibility Criteria
- Postgraduate degree in History (M.A. or M.Sc.) or a related field
- B.Ed. or D.El.Ed. with a minimum of 5 years of teaching experience
- NET or SET qualification in History or a related subject
- Proficiency in English and Punjabi languages
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
