This is a full-time Post Graduate Teacher position for History at Premier Public School Punjab located in Samana, Patiala. What you will actually do

Prepare detailed lesson plans for Classes 11 and 12 covering NCERT and state board History syllabi.
Take regular classes for History Teacher Recruitment in Punjab streams, ensuring two-way interaction.
Design and evaluate periodic tests, assignments, and project work on historical themes and events.
Organize debates and quizzes on topics like freedom struggle or cultural heritage to make history relatable.
Maintain accurate attendance, mark registers, and submit progress reports to the school office on time.
Participate in staff meetings, parent-teacher interactions, and school events like Independence Day functions.
Collaborate with other subject teachers to integrate history with literature or art where relevant.
Keep classroom resources updated and assist in maintaining the department’s teaching aids and library.

Who can do this job

Postgraduate degree in History with minimum 55% marks from a recognized university.
Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) or Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) with History as a teaching subject.
Three years of teaching experience at the senior secondary level in a reputed school.
TET/CTET is not mandatory but will be considered an added advantage.
