The PRT English Teacher will plan lessons that combine traditional teaching with smart classroom technologies to improve language skills. How You Will Teach
You will use smart boards to demonstrate grammar concepts with visual aids and real-time examples. Lessons will be reinforced through Google Classroom where students submit assignments and receive instant feedback. Key Responsibilities
Plan weekly English lessons using digital content aligned with the NCERT curriculum for PRT classes.
Prepare interactive smart board presentations for vocabulary, grammar, and literature chapters.
Upload worksheets, audio clips, and video links on Google Classroom for after-school practice.
Conduct online quizzes and speaking exercises using LMS tools to assess student understanding.
Collaborate with the IT team to troubleshoot basic technical issues during class sessions.
Organize monthly virtual storytelling sessions inviting parents to join via secure video links.
Monitor student participation metrics on the LMS dashboard and adjust teaching strategies accordingly.
Prepare monthly reports on digital engagement levels and share insights with the academic coordinator.
Eligibility Criteria
Graduation in English from a recognized university with a minimum of 50% marks.
Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) or Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) from a NCTE-approved institution.
At least 3 years of full-time English teaching experience in a school environment.
Familiarity with smart classroom tools and willingness to learn new digital platforms.
Experience with Google Workspace for Education or similar classroom management systems.
Preferred Skills
Strong digital literacy with the ability to create simple audio-visual teaching aids.
Proficiency in using Google Classroom, LMS platforms, and online assessment tools.
Comfortable guiding students through blended learning activities and self-paced modules.
Ability to train colleagues on basic smart board functions and digital etiquette.
Familiarity with regional language support tools for bilingual instruction.
