Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance to support academic growth.
Engage with parents through regular interactions, updates, and participation in school events to ensure a supportive home-school partnership. Represent the school at community-level Punjabi language initiatives or competitions if required. Ensure classroom management is effective, fostering a respectful and inclusive learning environment.
Requirements
Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Punjabi or a related field, along with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification to qualify for the PRT position. Experience in teaching Punjabi to students aged 6-18 years is highly preferred. Familiarity with Punjab’s educational framework and cultural nuances will be an asset.
A valid TET or CTET certificate is beneficial but not mandatory for this role. Strong communication skills in both Punjabi and English are essential. The ideal candidate should demonstrate passion for language pedagogy and a commitment to nurturing young learners’ linguistic and cultural development.
