Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the implementation of the TGT academic programme across all grades in Patiala, ensuring compliance with state curriculum standards.
- Coordinate with department heads to plan timetables, examinations, and assessment schedules for the school.
- Monitor student performance data, prepare analytical reports and recommend interventions to improve outcomes.
- Manage academic records, attendance registers and maintain liaison with the Punjab education board.
- Lead faculty meetings, conduct professional development sessions and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Supervise the preparation of study materials, exam papers and ensure timely distribution to students.
- Handle parent‑school interactions regarding academic policies and grievance redressal.
Required Skills
- Strong organisational and leadership abilities with at least 3 years of experience in school administration.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Punjabi, capable of interacting with teachers, parents and board officials.
- Proficiency in MS Office and school management software for data handling and reporting.
- Ability to analyse academic trends and formulate actionable strategies.
- Knowledge of TGT curriculum frameworks and assessment standards in Punjab.
Qualifications & Salary
A graduate degree is mandatory; candidates possessing B.Ed or D.El.Ed with TET/CTET clearance are preferred. The role offers a salary of Rs.30,000 - Rs.40,000 per month.
