Responsibilities
Deliver the Physics curriculum to Classes IX‑XII in an engaging, student‑centred manner, ensuring concepts are linked to everyday phenomena. Conduct regular classroom assessments, provide timely feedback, and maintain accurate records of student progress. Foster a supportive learning environment by encouraging questions, facilitating discussions, and guiding practical problem‑solving sessions.
Student Interaction
Interact with students individually and in groups to identify learning gaps and tailor explanations accordingly. Organise revision classes, doubt‑clearing sessions, and occasional extracurricular science activities to deepen interest in Physics.
Assessment Practices
Prepare and evaluate periodic tests, unit exams, and board examinations in line with the state education board guidelines. Analyse results to inform instructional adjustments and report performance to parents and school management.
Requirements
Minimum four years of full‑time teaching experience in Physics at the secondary level. Post‑graduate qualification in Physics or a related science discipline. B.Ed or D.El.Ed is essential; TET/CTET certification is preferred but not mandatory. Strong communication skills in English and Punjabi, and the ability to manage a diverse classroom.
