Angels World School in Rupnagar, Punjab is looking for a TGT English Teacher to shape the language skills of students in Classes 6 to 8. Your lessons will help them read, write, and speak with confidence, preparing them for board exams and beyond. Many of these young learners come from families where English is not the first language, so your patience and clarity will make all the difference.
As a TGT English Teacher in Rupnagar, Punjab, you will be the one who turns grammar rules into stories and vocabulary lists into conversations. You will plan lessons that connect with students’ daily lives, using local examples and relatable themes. Your role goes beyond the classroom—you will guide them in debating, creative writing, and even reciting poems to build fluency and expression.
Every day, you will design engaging English lessons that follow the school curriculum while keeping students interested. You will conduct regular reading sessions, correct assignments with constructive feedback, and organize activities like elocution and skit competitions. You will also prepare students for school-level English competitions and monitor their progress through simple, effective assessments.
Angels World School prefers candidates with a postgraduate degree in English along with a B.Ed. Experience of at least two years in teaching English at the middle school level is essential. While TET or CTET is not mandatory, familiarity with child-centered teaching methods will be an advantage.
