Maintain organized classroom materials and prepare lesson plans for the day, ensuring alignment with the school’s academic goals.
Regular Responsibilities Across the Academic Cycle
Assist in organizing school-wide mathematics competitions and extracurricular activities to boost student interest. Collaborate with the mathematics department to refine teaching strategies and share best practices with peers. Participate in regular faculty meetings to discuss curriculum updates and pedagogical innovations. Ensure compliance with school policies on assessment and grading while maintaining transparency with parents.
Periodic Responsibilities
Attend termly review sessions to evaluate student performance and adjust teaching methods accordingly. Conduct parent-teacher interactions to discuss student progress and address concerns collaboratively. Participate in school events like science fairs or math workshops to enhance engagement and showcase teaching expertise.
Qualification and Experience
Hold a B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree with at least two years of teaching experience in mathematics. A graduate degree in mathematics or a related field is preferred. Possession of TET/CTET certification is highly advantageous but not mandatory. Strong communication skills and a commitment to fostering a positive classroom culture are essential.
