We seek a dedicated TGT English teacher to join the vibrant English department at Sri Guru Harkrishan Public Sr. Sec. School, Dorha. Your role will focus on delivering engaging English language and literature classes to students in grades 9 to 12 while fostering a love for the subject through creative teaching methods.
Plan and conduct daily English lessons, covering grammar, literature, composition, and vocabulary development. Prepare lesson plans aligned with the curriculum while adapting teaching styles to meet diverse student needs. Engage students in interactive activities like debates, group discussions, and creative writing to enhance language skills. Maintain a positive classroom environment that encourages participation and critical thinking. A postgraduate degree in English or a related field with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification is essential. Two years of teaching experience, preferably in a senior secondary school, will be highly beneficial. TET/CTET certification is preferred but not mandatory.
This full-time position offers a competitive monthly salary of Rs.22,000 to Rs.40,000 for an experienced English teacher based in Sas Nagar, Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar, Punjab.
