Plan, prepare and deliver engaging Punjabi lessons for classes 11 and 12, aligning with the CBSE curriculum and state guidelines. Develop and use multimedia resources, audio‑visual aids and interactive activities to enhance language acquisition and cultural appreciation. Conduct regular assessments, evaluate student performance, and provide constructive feedback to foster continuous improvement. Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades and lesson plans as per school policy. Participate in parent‑teacher meetings, school functions and co‑curricular events to promote holistic development. Collaborate with department heads and fellow teachers to design interdisciplinary projects and integrate Punjabi literature with other subjects. Supervise and mentor junior staff or student teachers, offering guidance on pedagogical techniques. Uphold the school’s code of conduct, safety standards and inclusive classroom practices at all times.
Qualification and Experience
Candidates must hold a postgraduate degree in Punjabi or a related discipline along with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification. A minimum of two years of teaching experience at the PGT level is required. Preference will be given to those who have cleared TET/CTET, though it is not mandatory. Strong communication skills in Punjabi and English, along with a passion for student development, are essential.
Salary and Location
