Responsibilities

Conduct class discussions, practical sessions, and examinations, providing constructive feedback to students. Monitor student progress, maintain attendance records, and report academic performance to senior faculty. Participate in school meetings, curriculum development workshops, and extracurricular activities related to finance and economics. Mentor junior teachers and assist in the professional development of the teaching staff. Encourage students to engage in accounting competitions and projects, fostering practical skills and analytical thinking.
Qualification
A postgraduate degree in Commerce, Economics, or a related field is mandatory. B.Ed or D.El.Ed certification is required for teaching positions, and TET/CTET is preferred but not mandatory. Candidates should possess a strong grasp of accounting principles and the ability to convey complex concepts in an accessible manner.
Experience
A minimum of two years of teaching experience in a school setting is required. Candidates should demonstrate a track record of effective classroom management and student success in accounting subjects. Prior experience with curriculum design or assessment creation is an advantage.
