Key Responsibilities
As a PRT Music Teacher, you will be responsible for the following key duties:
- Design and implement engaging music lesson plans for primary students.
- Conduct music classes, including singing, instrumental education, and music appreciation.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Develop and maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure consistency and coordination in music education.
- Participate in school events and activities that promote music and the arts.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records and progress reports.
- Develop and implement strategies to promote student engagement and motivation.
- Stay updated with the latest developments in music education and incorporate new ideas into your teaching practice.
Required Qualifications
- B.Ed./D.El.Ed. degree from a recognized university.
- TET/CTET qualifications are preferred but not essential.
Preferred Skills
- Strong musical knowledge and teaching skills.
- Ability to create engaging and interactive music lessons.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and students.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
Salary and Benefits
