Mathematics (PGT) Vacancy in Balotra, Rajasthan
Shree Marudhar Vidhya Peeth Sr Sec School Dhorimana
Job Description
Work Culture
Shree Marudhar Vidhya Peeth Sr Sec School Dhorimana sits in the heart of Balotra where teachers meet daily to share lesson plans, solve student puzzles, and plan local field trips that make numbers feel real. The staff room hums with teachers who prefer to learn from each other, swapping stories of last week’s math olympiad successes and next month’s inter-school tournaments. Balotra’s small-town rhythm means we know every student by name and every parent by face, creating a classroom atmosphere where curiosity grows faster than syllabus completion.
About This Role
A Mathematics Teacher Vacancy in Balotra has opened for a Post Graduate Teacher who can guide Classes XI–XII through calculus, algebra, and statistics while keeping the subject alive in Rajasthani sunlight. You will join a team that values clear explanations over crammed schedules, and where lesson plans are revised in the evenings over chai rather than left for Sunday nights. The school expects you to bring both depth of knowledge and the patience to explain why a quadratic formula matters beyond the exam hall.
What You Will Do
Create daily lesson plans that connect abstract theorems to real-life problems students see in Balotra’s markets and farms.
Demonstrate solutions on the board step by step, speaking aloud each mental move so students can follow the logic trail.
Design monthly problem sets that mix textbook sums with local scenarios—calculating loan interest for a camel trader, or mapping the shortest route to the nearest grain market.
Conduct morning doubt-clearing sessions where students line up with notebooks and coloured pens before the first bell.
Organize two internal math fairs each year where students exhibit projects on topics like Vedic math shortcuts or graphing crop yields.
Collaborate with the science department to co-plan STEM activities that show how calculus controls a water pump or how trigonometry measures field boundaries.
Mentor five to eight students each year for national olympiads, meeting them after school in the library corner with a whiteboard and cups of water.
Maintain attendance registers, progress charts, and monthly reports in simple English or Hindi so parents can read them without confusion.
Eligibility Criteria
Post-graduate degree in Mathematics from a recognized university.
Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) or Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) with Mathematics as a teaching subject.
Minimum three years of classroom teaching experience in Classes XI–XII.
Prior experience in a senior secondary school in Rajasthan is preferred.
Familiarity with Rajasthan Board curriculum will be an advantage.
What You Get
Salary between Rs.20,000 and Rs.45,000 per month, based on qualifications and experience.
Fixed monthly payouts credited on the 5th of each month.
Health check-up reimbursement once a year for the teacher and dependents.
Access to a small library corner stocked with regional and national math resources.
Opportunity to lead school-level initiatives and shape the Mathematics curriculum further.
