About This Role
Global International School in Antah, Baran is looking for a vibrant and experienced PGT Geography Teacher to join our faculty. As a Geography Teacher at our school, you will play a significant role in shaping the minds of young learners from rural Rajasthan. Who You Will Teach
Our students come from diverse backgrounds, with many hailing from rural areas surrounding Baran. They are eager to learn and grow, and it is our responsibility to provide them with a supportive and inclusive environment. As a Geography Teacher, you will work closely with students from Grade 6 to 12, guiding them through the wonders of our planet and its diverse ecosystems.
Key Responsibilities
* Teach Geography to students from Grade 6 to 12, using innovative and engaging methods to make the subject come alive
* Develop and implement lesson plans that cater to the needs of our students, taking into account their learning styles and abilities
* Engage with parents and guardians through regular progress meetings and report cards to keep them informed about their child's progress
* Participate in staff development programs to enhance your teaching skills and stay updated on the latest curriculum developments
* Contribute to the school's community outreach programs, helping to promote Geography awareness and education among local communities
* Collaborate with colleagues to plan and execute school-wide events and activities that promote Geography education
* Conduct assessments and evaluations to monitor student progress and identify areas for improvement
* Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance
* Participate in extracurricular activities that promote Geography education and awareness
Required Qualifications
* Post-graduate degree in Geography or a related field
* B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree is mandatory for teaching positions
* Preferably CTET or TET certification
* Minimum 2 years of experience in teaching Geography at the secondary level
* Strong knowledge of the Geography curriculum and its implementation
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
