Document student progress in a simple register and provide feedback to parents during PTMs. Assist in decorating the school for annual functions and festivals where dance performances are showcased. Encourage shy or less active students to participate through positive reinforcement.
Required Qualifications
Graduate in any discipline with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree from a recognized institution. Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in dance or physical education at the primary level. Valid TET/CTET certification is preferred but not mandatory for this role.
Preferred Skills
Fluency in Hindi and English for effective communication with students and parents. Ability to choreograph age-appropriate dance routines for children aged 6 to 11 years. Basic knowledge of Rajasthani folk dance forms and modern dance styles is advantageous.
Familiarity with classroom management techniques and student engagement strategies. Willingness to participate in teacher training programs and school events outside regular hours. Creativity in designing low-cost props and costumes for performances.
