Classroom Profile
Our Mathematics classrooms at Global International School are vibrant and engaging spaces where students of diverse backgrounds come together to explore and discover the wonders of Mathematics. You will be teaching a range of Mathematics subjects to students from Class 6 to Class 10, with the opportunity to design and implement interactive lesson plans that cater to different learning styles.
What You Will Do
- Plan and deliver engaging Mathematics lessons that cater to the diverse needs of our students.
- Develop and implement assessments to monitor student progress and identify areas for improvement.
- Foster a love for Mathematics among our students, encouraging them to ask questions and explore concepts in depth.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop a Mathematics curriculum that is inclusive and relevant to our students' needs.
- Provide one-on-one support to students who require additional help outside of regular class hours.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in Mathematics education, incorporating innovative teaching methods and resources into your practice.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians to keep them informed about their child's progress.
- Participate in school-wide initiatives and events that promote Mathematics awareness and appreciation.
Required Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you must hold a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification from a recognized university. A TET or CTET qualification is preferred but not essential. With 2 years of teaching experience, you will be well-equipped to develop and implement effective Mathematics lesson plans that cater to the needs of our students.
