About This Role
Shiv Shakti Vidhya Mandri Secondary School in Barmer, Rajasthan invites applications for the post of PGT Chemistry Teacher. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Chemistry teacher to join our faculty. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Chemistry to students from classes 9 to 12.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and deliver Chemistry lessons to students in classes 9 to 12.
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans to meet the needs of students.
- Conduct regular assessments and evaluations to track student progress.
- Provide feedback and guidance to students on their performance.
- Maintain a well-organized and safe classroom environment.
- Collaborate with other teachers to plan and implement interdisciplinary projects.
- Stay up-to-date with curriculum developments and pedagogical best practices.
- Participate in school events and activities to promote student engagement.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the school administration.
Eligibility Criteria
Must Have
- Postgraduate degree in Chemistry (M.Sc.) from a recognized university.
- B.Ed. or D.El.Ed. from a recognized institution.
- Valid TET/CTET certificate (preferably).
Good to Have
- Experience of teaching Chemistry in a school setting.
- Familiarity with the Rajasthan State Board curriculum.
- Proficiency in English and Hindi languages.
Preferred Skills
- Strong knowledge of Chemistry concepts and theories.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a team and contribute to school events.
Salary and Benefits
The selected candidate will receive a consolidated salary of Rs.30,000 - Rs.50,000 per month. Additional benefits include paid leaves, medical insurance, and opportunities for professional development.
