Modern School seeks a dedicated PGT Accountancy Teacher to join its Bharatpur campus. This full‑time role requires a post‑graduate degree and a minimum of two years of teaching experience in accountancy.
Daily responsibilities
- Prepare and deliver engaging accountancy lessons that align with the school curriculum.
- Assess student performance through quizzes and assignments, providing timely feedback.
- Maintain accurate attendance records and update the class register.
- Participate in faculty meetings to discuss student progress and instructional strategies.
Regular responsibilities across the academic cycle
- Design and administer term‑end examinations and projects for the accountancy stream.
- Coordinate with the school administration to arrange practical sessions and workshops for students.
- Update lesson plans and teaching materials to reflect new accounting standards and educational guidelines.
- Mentor and support junior teachers in adopting effective classroom techniques.
Periodic responsibilities
- Compile and submit monthly reports on student performance to the principal.
- Lead the annual accountancy fair, showcasing student work and industry collaborations.
- Review and revise the syllabus every academic year to ensure relevance and compliance with state regulations.
Qualification and experience
- Post‑graduate degree in Commerce, Economics or a related field.
- B.Ed or D.El.Ed required; TET/CTET preferred.
- Minimum two years of teaching experience in accountancy at the PGT level.
- Strong command of accounting software and modern teaching aids.
Salary and location
- Competitive salary ranging from Rs.35,000 to Rs.50,000 per month.
