What You Will Do
1. Teach Biology to students at the 11th and 12th standards, developing and implementing engaging lesson plans that cater to different learning styles.
2. Prepare and deliver lectures, demonstrations, and practicals to students, ensuring that they grasp complex concepts and develop a deep understanding of the subject.
3. Assess student progress, identify areas of improvement, and provide constructive feedback to students, parents, and colleagues.
4. Develop and implement innovative teaching methods, incorporating technology and multimedia resources to enhance the learning experience.
5. Participate in staff meetings, workshops, and training sessions to stay updated on the latest teaching methodologies and technologies.
6. Co-coordinate with other teachers to develop and implement interdisciplinary projects and activities.
7. Engage in extra-curricular activities, such as guiding clubs and societies, to promote student development and holistic growth.
Who Can Apply
Applicants must possess a postgraduate degree in Biology (M.Sc.) or a related field, with a B.Ed. or D.El.Ed. degree. A minimum of 4 years of teaching experience in a school setting is required. Preference will be given to candidates who have experience in teaching Biology at the 11th and 12th standards. Familiarity with TET/CTET is desirable but not mandatory.
Salary and Benefits
The successful candidate will be offered a competitive salary package of Rs.45,000 - Rs.65,000 per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Other benefits include medical insurance, housing allowance, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
