Day-to-Day Duties
As a PGT Music Teacher, you will be responsible for:
* Designing and implementing music curriculum for Classes IX to XII
* Conducting music classes, rehearsals, and workshops for students
* Assessing student progress and providing timely feedback
* Maintaining accurate attendance and performance records
* Collaborating with other teachers to integrate music with other subjects
* Mentoring junior staff members and guiding them in their professional development
* Participating in school events, concerts, and competitions
* Developing and implementing music-related activities and projects
* Maintaining a well-equipped music room with proper instruments and resources
* Participating in staff meetings and contributing to decision-making processes
Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for this role, you must have:
* A postgraduate degree in Music or a related field (B.Ed/D.El.Ed required for teaching positions)
* A minimum of 5 years of teaching experience, preferably in a school setting
* NET or SET certification is preferred but not mandatory
* Strong knowledge of music syllabus and curriculum development
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
