Collaborate with the English department to refine teaching strategies and share best practices with colleagues. Attend regular faculty meetings to discuss curriculum updates, student performance trends, and pedagogical innovations. Ensure compliance with school policies on assessment, grading, and student conduct.
Periodic Responsibilities
Participate in termly evaluations and feedback sessions to assess teaching effectiveness and student learning outcomes. Organize cultural or literary events, such as poetry recitals, debates, or book fairs, to enrich the English curriculum. Prepare periodic reports on student achievements, highlighting strengths and areas requiring improvement.
Qualification and Experience
Hold a B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree with a postgraduate qualification in English or a related field. Possess a valid TET/CTET certificate, though not mandatory for this role. Minimum two years of teaching experience in English at the secondary level is essential. Strong command of English, both spoken and written, with proficiency in teaching methodologies and classroom management.
Salary and Location
