Job Description
PRT Art and Craft Teacher Position at Sanskaar Sr Sec School, Bikaner
Teach Art and Craft subjects to students in Classes I to VIII at Sanskaar Sr Sec School, Bikaner. This role involves designing engaging lessons that blend creativity with academic learning, ensuring students develop both artistic skills and critical thinking.
Plan and execute hands-on art projects, including pottery, painting, textile work, and craft-based experiments. Collaborate with the curriculum team to align activities with school learning outcomes and integrate subject matter across different grade levels.
Ensure students follow safety protocols during craft activities, particularly when using tools, paints, and materials. Maintain a clean and organized art room, stocking supplies and preparing workspaces for classes.
Develop and implement assessment methods to evaluate students’ progress in Art and Craft, such as portfolios, exhibitions, and skill-based evaluations. Provide constructive feedback to help students improve their techniques and creativity.
Engage with parents through workshops or open days to showcase students’ projects and share insights on their artistic growth. Attend school meetings and workshops to stay updated on teaching methodologies and educational trends in Art and Craft.
Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Education (B.Ed) or Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) with a minimum of three years of teaching experience in Art and Craft. Possession of TET/CTET is an advantage but not mandatory.
This full-time position offers a monthly salary ranging from Rs. 18,000 to Rs. 30,000, depending on qualifications and experience. The role is based in Bikaner, Rajasthan, and requires a proactive approach to fostering creativity in a diverse student body.
