Job Description
PGT Mathematics Teacher – Bal Bharti International School | Sujangarh, Churu, Rajasthan
Responsibilities
Design and deliver engaging mathematics lessons for classes IX‑XII, following the NCERT syllabus and school curriculum. Conduct regular assessments, provide feedback, and support students in developing problem‑solving skills. Participate in faculty meetings, contribute to co‑curricular activities, and maintain classroom discipline.
Key Duties
Prepare lesson plans, worksheets and visual aids that cater to varied learning abilities. Mentor students for Olympiads and inter‑school competitions. Coordinate with the head of department to align teaching strategies with school goals. Keep academic records up‑to‑date and communicate progress to parents as needed.
Qualifications
Post‑graduate degree in Mathematics or a related field is mandatory. B.Ed or D.El.Ed is required for teaching positions. Candidates with TET/CTET certification will be preferred.
Experience
Minimum three years of teaching experience at the senior secondary level, preferably in a CBSE or similar board school. Proven track record of improving student performance in mathematics is essential.
