Shanti Niketan Public School in Bhadra invites applications for a dedicated PRT Dance Teacher to join their vibrant arts program. This role focuses on nurturing students’ creativity through structured dance classes, blending cultural traditions with modern techniques.

Teach fundamental dance forms such as Bharatanatyam, Kathak, or contemporary dance styles to students in grades 3 to 8. Develop age-appropriate lesson plans that align with school curriculum goals while encouraging physical expression and discipline. Organize weekly dance workshops and performances to showcase student talent, fostering confidence and teamwork. Maintain a safe, inclusive environment where all students feel encouraged to participate, regardless of skill level. Collaborate with the school’s arts coordinator to integrate dance into broader extracurricular activities. Ensure proper alignment with school policies on student attendance, behavior, and health safety. Participate in school events where dance is featured, such as festivals or inter-house competitions. Assess student progress through observations, participation records, and simple evaluations to provide constructive feedback. Keep up-to-date with new dance pedagogy and teaching methods to improve instructional quality. Assist in preparing students for school-level dance competitions or exhibitions when requested.

A graduate degree in any field is required, with a minimum of two years of teaching experience in dance or related arts. TET/CTET certification is not mandatory but preferred. The successful candidate will receive a monthly salary ranging from Rs.14,000 to Rs.22,000, depending on qualifications and performance. This full-time position is based in Hanumangarh, Rajasthan.
