Role Summary
The Sports HOD at Good Day Defense School will lead the physical education department, shaping the athletic culture and fitness standards for students. This role involves planning, implementing, and monitoring sports programs across the school. Coordination with defense-oriented fitness goals and local sports facilities is essential.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute an annual sports calendar aligned with Good Day Defense School’s mission.
Supervise coaching staff, allocate training schedules, and ensure equipment maintenance.
Organize inter-house and inter-school tournaments within Hanumangarh district.
Monitor student participation, fitness assessments, and progress records.
Liaise with local sports academies for talent identification and skill development.
Manage the sports budget and procure necessary gear and kits.
Report to the school management on departmental achievements and challenges.
Ensure compliance with CBSE sports guidelines and safety protocols.
Who Can Apply
Must Have
Postgraduate degree in Physical Education or Sports Science
Minimum 2 years of experience in sports administration or coaching
Familiarity with school-level sports competitions in Rajasthan
Good to Have
B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification
Experience in defense or paramilitary sports programs
Working knowledge of CBSE sports guidelines
