Role Summary
Good Day Defense School is looking for a Sports Teacher to lead its sports programs in Hanumangarh. This is a full-time position requiring hands-on experience in organizing and managing sports activities for students. The role involves coordinating with school leadership to develop a structured sports curriculum and ensuring participation in district and state-level competitions.
What You Will Do
1. Plan and conduct daily sports sessions for students aged 5 to 18, focusing on skill development and fitness.
2. Organize inter-house and inter-school tournaments in cricket, football, athletics, and other sports.
3. Maintain sports equipment inventory and ensure proper storage and usage of facilities.
4. Coordinate with the school administration to prepare annual sports budgets and procurement plans.
5. Identify talented students and prepare them for zonal, state, and national-level competitions.
6. Document student progress in sports and provide reports to the school management.
7. Ensure safety protocols are followed during all sports activities and training sessions.
8. Collaborate with defense-related physical training instructors to integrate sports with overall discipline.
Required Qualifications
Graduation in Physical Education or Sports Science from a recognized university is mandatory. Candidates must have a B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree. Prior experience in a school or sports academy setting is preferred. Basic computer skills, including MS Office and sports management software, are required.
Skills We Value
Experience in coaching at least two sports at competitive levels. Ability to manage large groups of students and maintain discipline. Knowledge of sports psychology and injury prevention is an added advantage.
What You Get
The selected candidate will receive a salary in the range of Rs.20,000 to Rs.35,000 per month, based on experience and qualifications. The position includes benefits such as annual leave, medical reimbursement, and access to school sports facilities.
