What You Will Do
As ASSISTANT PROFESSOR - Criminal Law, you will be responsible for:
- Teaching undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Criminal Law
- Conducting seminars, workshops, and guest lectures
- Developing and updating course materials
- Assessing student performance and providing feedback
- Supervising research projects and guiding postgraduate students
- Participating in curriculum planning and development
- Engaging in academic and professional development activities
- Contributing to the department's research and publication initiatives
Postgraduate Students
As part of the Criminal Law faculty at Jecrc University, you will be responsible for guiding and mentoring postgraduate students in their master level courses and research projects. You will provide guidance on research methodologies, academic writing, and presentation skills.
Required Qualifications
To be eligible for this position, you must possess:
- A Ph.D. in Criminal Law with a minimum of 55% marks
- NET/SLET qualification (in case the Ph.D. is not completed)
- Publications in peer-reviewed journals related to Criminal Law
- A strong teaching and research background in Criminal Law

The remuneration for this position will be in the range of Rs.35,000 - Rs.65,000 per month, as per UGC norms. You will also be eligible for various allowances and benefits as per UGC regulations.
