About This Role
Jecrc University invites applications for the position of Assistant Professor in Family Law. This full-time role involves teaching undergraduate and postgraduate students in Jaipur, Rajasthan. The university follows UGC norms for academic recruitment and career progression.
What You Will Do
Teach core and elective courses in Family Law to LLB and LLM students at Jecrc University. Design syllabus modules, deliver lectures, and conduct tutorials for students in Jaipur and online cohorts. Prepare and evaluate assignments, case studies, and semester-end examinations.
Evaluate moot court problems and provide feedback on student submissions. Organize guest lectures and workshops on contemporary issues in Family Law. Mentor students for internships, research projects, and competitive examinations. Guide students in drafting legal documents and drafting research papers.
Coordinate with the Department of Law for curriculum updates and academic events. Participate in university committees related to admissions, examinations, and student welfare. Contribute to the development of interdisciplinary courses involving Family Law and social sciences.
Master Level Teaching
Teach specialized courses such as Comparative Family Law, International Family Law, and Gender Jurisprudence at the LLM level. Supervise dissertation projects and guide students in empirical or doctrinal research. Collaborate with senior faculty on curriculum design for new electives.
Required Qualifications
Postgraduate degree in Law with specialization in Family Law or related areas from a recognized university. PhD in Law with minimum 55% marks or NET/SLET qualified. Minimum one year of teaching or research experience in Family Law at a university or college.
Publications in peer-reviewed journals or chapters in edited books are preferred. Familiarity with UGC regulations on API scores and academic performance indicators is necessary. Knowledge of Rajasthan state legal frameworks and local judicial practices is an advantage.

Salary and Benefits
The monthly salary for this position ranges from Rs.35,000 to Rs.65,000 based on qualifications and experience.
