Publish in peer-reviewed journals indexed in Scopus or Web of Science and present findings at national and international conferences.
Apply for competitive research grants from UGC, ICSSR, or industry-sponsored schemes to fund projects on cybersecurity policy, privacy law, or digital rights. Collaborate with the Centre for Digital Studies at Jecrc University to develop policy briefs and white papers.
Supervise LL.M. dissertations and guide Ph.D. scholars in Cyber Law, ensuring timely completion and adherence to ethical standards. Participate in doctoral committees and serve as an examiner for thesis evaluations across Rajasthan universities.
Required Qualifications
A Ph.D. in Law with specialization in Cyber Law or a closely related field from a recognized university is mandatory. Candidates with a post-doctoral fellowship or visiting scholar experience will be preferred, especially those trained at institutions with strong cyber law research units.
If the Ph.D. is not completed, possession of UGC-NET with JRF or equivalent qualification such as SLET/SET is required, as per UGC norms for direct recruitment to the post of Assistant Professor. At least one year of full-time teaching or research experience in Cyber Law is essential.
Preference will be given to candidates with publications in reputed journals, experience in moot court coaching, or involvement in cyber law clinics or pro bono legal aid programs. Familiarity with Rajasthan’s digital governance initiatives and local judicial practices will be an added advantage.
