What You Will Do
As an ASSISTANT PROFESSOR of Human Rights Law, you will be responsible for:
- Teaching undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Human Rights Law, including courses on international human rights law, human rights in India, and human rights and development.
- Conducting research in the area of Human Rights Law and publishing papers in reputable journals.
- Supervising Ph.D. students and guiding them in their research projects.
- Participating in academic projects and collaborative research initiatives with other departments and institutions.
- Evaluating student performance and providing feedback.
- Participating in departmental and university committees.
- Attending seminars and conferences to stay updated on the latest developments in the field.
- Collaborating with faculty members from other departments to develop interdisciplinary courses and research projects.
Required Qualifications
To be eligible for this position, you should have a Ph.D. in Human Rights Law or a related field. A post-doctoral experience is preferred. In addition, you should have a strong academic record and a UGC-NET with a Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) is desirable.

As an ASSISTANT PROFESSOR at Jecrc University, you will be entitled to a salary of Rs.35,000 - Rs.65,000 per month, as per UGC norms. In addition, you will be eligible for research grants and funding opportunities to support your research projects.
