What You Will Do
- Teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses in digital journalism, including news writing, editing, and online media management.
- Conduct research in digital journalism, including online news consumption, social media, and digital media ethics.
- Publish research papers in national and international journals, including those related to digital journalism.
- Supervise Ph.D. students and guide them in their research projects.
- Develop and implement curriculum for digital journalism courses.
- Collaborate with other departments and institutions on research projects and academic initiatives.
- Participate in departmental and institutional committees to contribute to policy-making and academic decision-making.
Eligibility Criteria
- Ph.D. in Mass Communication or a related field is mandatory. Those who have completed their Ph.D. are preferred.
- UGC-NET with Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) is desirable.
- Post-doctoral research experience in digital journalism or a related field is an added advantage.
Academic Projects
- Collaborate with other departments and institutions on research projects, including those related to digital journalism.
- Apply for research grants to support your research projects.
- Publish research papers in national and international journals, including those related to digital journalism.
- Participate in academic workshops and conferences to present your research.
Ph.D. Supervision
- Guide doctoral students in their research projects, including those related to digital journalism.
