Key Responsibilities
- Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in Photojournalism, including introductory courses, advanced modules, and electives.
- Develop and maintain a strong research program, producing high-quality research outputs in the area of Photojournalism.
- Publish research papers in reputable national and international journals, contributing to the academic reputation of the department.
- Supervise Ph.D. and M.Phil. students in Photojournalism, providing guidance and mentorship throughout their research journey.
- Participate in departmental and university-level committees, contributing to academic planning and policy-making.
- Participate in academic events, conferences, and workshops, representing the university and the department.
- Collaborate with colleagues across departments to develop innovative academic programs and research initiatives.
- Engage in professional development activities to enhance teaching, research, and administrative skills.
- Contribute to the development of the department's research agenda, identifying opportunities for interdisciplinary collaboration.
Eligibility Criteria
- A Ph.D. in Photojournalism or a related field is mandatory for this position.
- A post-doctoral research experience is preferred but not essential.
- UGC-NET with JRF is required for direct recruitment as Assistant Professor.
- Candidate should be well-versed in teaching and research in Photojournalism.

- Salary: Rs.35,000 - Rs.65,000 per month as per UGC norms.
