About This Role
As an ASSISTANT PROFESSOR of Social Media Journalism at Jecrc University, you will play a vital role in shaping the next generation of media professionals. Day-to-Day Duties
- Teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Social Media Journalism, including theories, practices, and industry trends
- Advise students on academic and professional matters, including research projects, internships, and career development
- Participate in academic administration, including curriculum development, course evaluations, and departmental meetings
- Conduct research and publish papers in reputable journals and conferences
- Engage with industry professionals and organizations to develop partnerships and collaborations
- Develop and implement social media campaigns and strategies for the institution
- Collaborate with faculty from other departments to develop interdisciplinary research projects
- Participate in departmental and institutional committees to develop policies and programs
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments in Social Media Journalism
Who Can Apply
To be eligible for this position, you should have a Ph.D. from a recognized university or a Master's degree with a strong record of industry experience. A strong background in Social Media Journalism, including theories, practices, and industry trends, is essential. Experience in teaching, research, and industry is highly preferred.
