Our Department of Computer Science and Engineering has a strong research focus, with a reputation for excellence in computational science. As a member of our faculty, you will be expected to contribute to our research efforts, teach courses in computational science, and mentor students.
Key Responsibilities
As an ASSISTANT PROFESSOR - Computational Science at Jecrc University, you will be responsible for:
- Teaching undergraduate and postgraduate courses in computational science, including data structures, algorithms, and computer systems.
- Conducting research in computational science, including developing new algorithms, data structures, and computational models.
- Publishing research papers in reputable journals and conferences, including top-tier international conferences in computational science.
- Supervising Ph.D. students and guiding them in their research projects.
- Collaborating with other faculty members and researchers on interdisciplinary research projects.
- Participating in departmental and university-level committees, including curriculum development and research promotion.
- Developing and maintaining a strong research program, including securing research grants and funding.
- Mentoring and advising undergraduate and postgraduate students on academic and research matters.
Who Can Apply
To be eligible for this position, you must have a Ph.D. in Computational Science or a related field. A post-doctoral experience is preferred, but not mandatory. You must also have a good academic record, with a strong publication record in reputable journals and conferences. In addition, you must have a good teaching record, with experience in teaching undergraduate and postgraduate courses.
