Role Summary
The School of Engineering and Technology at Jecrc University, Jaipur, Rajasthan, invites applications for the position of ASSISTANT PROFESSOR - Operating Systems. The faculty member will join the Department of Computer Science and Engineering as an integral part of a research-oriented academic environment. Day-to-Day Duties
As an ASSISTANT PROFESSOR - Operating Systems, the incumbent will be responsible for:
* Teaching undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Operating Systems.
* Conducting research in the area of Operating Systems and related areas.
* Publishing research papers in peer-reviewed international journals.
* Supervising Ph.D. students and guiding their research work.
* Collaborating with faculty members from other departments for interdisciplinary research projects.
* Participating in academic and administrative activities of the Department.
* Maintaining a high-quality research and teaching profile.
* Engaging in departmental and institutional service activities.
Required Qualifications
The ideal candidate should possess a Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering with a specialization in Operating Systems. A postdoctoral research experience and UGC-NET with JRF will be preferred. The candidate should have a good academic record and research experience in the area of Operating Systems.
Research & Publications
As a research-oriented faculty member, the candidate is expected to:
* Develop and sustain a strong research program in Operating Systems.
* Collaborate with other faculty members and researchers to secure research funding and projects.
* Publish research papers in top-tier international journals and conferences.
* Present research papers in international conferences and seminars.
* Engage in research collaborations with national and international institutions.
Doctoral Guidance
The faculty member is expected to:
* Guide Ph.D. students in the area of Operating Systems.
* Evaluate and assess the research work of Ph.D. students.
