Role Summary
Jecrc University invites applications for the post of ASSISTANT PROFESSOR in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering. The successful candidate will teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Computer Networks, guide postgraduate students, and participate in academic activities.
Day-to-Day Duties
- Teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Computer Networks, including theory and laboratory sessions.
- Prepare and deliver lectures, tutorials, and practical sessions for undergraduate students.
- Conduct tutorials and practical sessions for postgraduate students.
- Guide postgraduate students in their research projects.
- Evaluate student performance and provide feedback.
- Participate in academic activities, such as attending seminars, workshops, and conferences.
- Assist in curriculum development and revision.
- Supervise undergraduate and postgraduate students for their thesis and project work.
- Conduct research and publish papers in peer-reviewed journals.
Postgraduate Students
- Guide postgraduate students in their research projects and thesis work.
- Assist postgraduate students in developing their research proposals.
- Provide guidance and support to postgraduate students in their academic and research work.
- Evaluate postgraduate students' performance and provide feedback.
Required Qualifications
- Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering or a related field with a minimum of 55% marks.
- NET/SLET qualification is required for candidates without a Ph.D.
- Publications in peer-reviewed journals are essential.
- Teaching experience of at least three years is required.
