Day-to-Day Duties
As an ASSISTANT PROFESSOR in NLP at Jecrc University, you will be responsible for:
- Teaching undergraduate and postgraduate courses in NLP, including theory and laboratory sessions
- Conducting research in NLP, collaborating with faculty members on interdisciplinary projects
- Publishing research papers in reputable international journals and conferences
- Supervising Ph.D. students and guiding them in their research
- Developing curriculum and syllabi for NLP courses
- Participating in departmental and institutional activities, such as seminars and workshops
- Collaborating with industry partners on research and development projects
- Staying updated with the latest developments in NLP and incorporating them into the curriculum
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the position of ASSISTANT PROFESSOR in NLP at Jecrc University, you should possess:
- A Ph.D. in Computer Science, Linguistics, or a related field from a recognized University
- A strong background in NLP, with a focus on either theoretical foundations or applied aspects
- UGC-NET or UGC-CSIR-NET with Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) qualification, or a postdoctoral research experience
- Teaching experience, preferably in a University setting
