What You Will Do
As an ASSISTANT PROFESSOR - Vlsi Design at Jecrc University, you will be responsible for teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in Vlsi Design, including circuit design, digital design, and Vlsi systems. You will also conduct research in Vlsi Design, publish papers in leading journals, and supervise Ph.D. students. Additionally, you will be expected to participate in curriculum development, academic advisory committees, and departmental meetings.
Teaching: You will teach Vlsi Design courses to undergraduate and graduate students, including lectures, tutorials, and lab sessions.
Research: You will conduct research in Vlsi Design, including circuit design, digital design, and Vlsi systems, and publish papers in leading journals.
Publications: You will publish papers in leading journals, including IEEE Transactions on Vlsi Design, ACM Journal on Emerging Technologies in Computing Systems, and Journal of Vlsi Design.
Ph.D. Supervision: You will supervise Ph.D. students in Vlsi Design, including guiding them in their research, evaluating their thesis, and providing feedback.
Curriculum Development: You will participate in curriculum development, including designing new courses, revising existing courses, and developing course materials.
Departmental Meetings: You will participate in departmental meetings, including discussing departmental affairs, setting academic goals, and evaluating departmental performance.
Collaborative Projects: You will collaborate with other faculty members on research projects, including project proposals, research funding, and collaborative publications.
Research Funding: You will pursue research grants from national and international funding agencies, including DST, DRDO, and IC Design.
