Day-to-Day Duties
As an ASSISTANT PROFESSOR - Embedded Systems at Jecrc University, your key responsibilities will include:
- Designing and teaching undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Embedded Systems
- Conducting research in Embedded Systems and related areas, and publishing papers in peer-reviewed journals
- Supervising Ph.D. students in Embedded Systems and allied areas
- Collaborating with faculty members from other departments on interdisciplinary research projects
- Developing industry partnerships and collaborations
- Participating in departmental and university-level committees
- Maintaining a strong commitment to academic excellence and research productivity
Required Qualifications
To be eligible for this position, you must have:
- A Ph.D. in Embedded Systems or a related field from a recognized university
- A strong research background, preferably with a post-doc experience
- UGC-NET (JRF) or a similar national-level eligibility test
- Strong teaching and research experience, with a minimum of 3 years in a university or research institution
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ph.D. Supervision
As an ASSISTANT PROFESSOR - Embedded Systems, you will be responsible for guiding and supervising Ph.D. students in Embedded Systems and allied areas. Your duties will include:
- Identifying and mentoring potential Ph.D. students
- Guiding students through their research work and thesis preparation
- Evaluating student performance and progress
- Providing feedback and guidance to students on their research and academic work
Salary and Benefits
The remuneration for this position will be Rs.30,000 - Rs.50,000 per month, as per UGC norms, with additional research grants and benefits. The selected candidate will also be eligible for housing and other benefits as per university rules.
