Key Responsibilities

Publish original research in UGC-listed journals and present papers at national and international conferences. Supervise student research projects and dissertations at the postgraduate level. Contribute to curriculum development and revision in consultation with the Board of Studies.
Collaborate with the university’s Research and Development Cell to secure external funding for academic projects. Organize workshops, guest lectures, and academic events in collaboration with cultural institutions in Jaipur. Maintain active participation in university committees related to NAAC and NIRF assessments.
Required Qualifications
A Ph.D. in History is mandatory for this Assistant Professor position. Candidates with post-doctoral research experience will be preferred, especially those with a focus on Rajasthan’s history or heritage studies. UGC-NET qualified candidates with JRF are strongly encouraged to apply, in line with UGC norms for Assistant Professor appointments.
Preference will be given to candidates with teaching experience of at least three years in a university or autonomous college. Familiarity with digital humanities tools, archival research methods, and interdisciplinary approaches will be considered advantageous.
