Role Summary
Jecrc University invites applications for the position of ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR - Algorithms. This full-time role is open in Jaipur, Rajasthan, as part of the university’s ongoing ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR Vacancy in Rajasthan. The selected candidate will contribute to both academic excellence and research growth in the field of Algorithms.
What You Will Do
Teach undergraduate courses in Algorithms, Data Structures, and related subjects at Jecrc University. Design and deliver lectures, tutorials, and practical sessions aligned with the curriculum. Develop and update course materials, including lecture notes, assignments, and lab exercises.
Assess student performance through examinations, projects, and viva voce. Guide students in problem-solving, algorithm design, and implementation using programming languages like Python, C++, and Java. Organize workshops and seminars to enhance learning outcomes in Algorithms.
Postgraduate Students
Supervise master’s level students in their coursework, research projects, and dissertations. Guide students in advanced topics such as Approximation Algorithms, Graph Algorithms, and Computational Complexity. Assist in thesis writing, peer reviews, and publication preparation in peer-reviewed journals.
Who Can Apply
Candidates must hold a Ph.D. in Computer Science or a related discipline with at least 55% marks. A minimum of 3 years of teaching or research experience in Algorithms is required. NET/SLET qualified candidates with strong publications may also apply, in line with UGC norms.
Publications in Scopus/WoS indexed journals are preferred. Prior experience in curriculum development and industry collaboration in algorithmic design is desirable. Familiarity with NPTEL or Coursera-style online course creation is a plus.
