Jecrc University invites applications for the position of ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR in Applied Chemistry for full-time employment in Jaipur, Rajasthan. What You Will Do
Design and deliver lectures for B.Sc. and M.Sc. Applied Chemistry courses at Jecrc University. Develop curriculum aligned with industry trends and academic standards. Conduct practical sessions and laboratory demonstrations for undergraduate students.
Supervise laboratory work and ensure safety protocols are followed. Mentor students in academic projects and research assignments. Evaluate student performance through assignments, tests, and examinations. Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to curriculum development.
Engage in continuous improvement of teaching methodologies and content delivery. Collaborate with industry partners for internships and research collaborations.
Postgraduate Students
Guide postgraduate students in their master’s level projects and dissertations. Assist students in selecting research topics relevant to Applied Chemistry. Provide feedback on research progress and final submissions.
Facilitate access to laboratory resources and analytical instruments. Encourage participation in national and international conferences. Support students in publishing research findings in peer-reviewed journals.
Required Qualifications
Ph.D. in Applied Chemistry with a minimum of 55% marks from a recognized university. Must have completed NET/SLET or equivalent examination as per UGC regulations.
Minimum 3 years of teaching experience in Applied Chemistry at the university level. Strong publication record in peer-reviewed journals is mandatory.
Experience in guiding research projects at the postgraduate level is preferred. Candidates with industry exposure in chemical analysis or related fields will be given preference.

Salary and Benefits
