What You Will Do
- Teach undergraduate and postgraduate students in Constitutional Law, including core and elective courses.
- Develop and deliver curriculum for Constitutional Law courses, incorporating contemporary issues and debates.
- Guide undergraduate and postgraduate students in research projects, providing mentorship and feedback.
- Design and conduct seminars, workshops, and conferences on Constitutional Law, fostering academic exchange and collaboration.
- Develop and maintain a research agenda in Constitutional Law, publishing papers in peer-reviewed journals and presenting at national and international conferences.
- Serve on university committees, contributing to policy-making and decision-making processes.
- Engage with the academic community, participating in departmental meetings and contributing to curriculum development.
- Collaborate with other faculty members to develop interdisciplinary courses and research initiatives.
- Participate in student evaluation and assessment processes, providing feedback to students and contributing to the development of assessment instruments.
- Participate in the development of academic policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with UGC and state government regulations.
Master Level Teaching
As an ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR in Constitutional Law, you will be responsible for teaching master level courses, including seminars, workshops, and research projects. You will guide students in the development of their research skills, providing feedback and mentorship. You will also contribute to the development of curriculum for master level courses, incorporating contemporary issues and debates.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the post of ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR - Constitutional Law, the candidates must possess a Ph.D. in Constitutional Law or a related field from a recognized university, with a minimum of 55% marks at the Master's level. The candidates must also have a valid UGC-NET/SLET qualification or equivalent. In addition, the candidates must have a strong publication record in peer-reviewed journals, demonstrating their expertise and research contributions in the field of Constitutional Law.
