About This Role
Jecrc University invites applications for the position of ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR in the Control Systems Department. The successful candidate will be expected to contribute to the teaching, research, and administrative activities of the department. This is a full-time position in a dynamic and challenging academic environment.
Day-to-Day Duties
================
1. Teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Control Systems, including theory, experiments, and projects, to students of Jecrc University.
2. Develop and deliver new courses in Control Systems, in line with the vision of Jecrc University.
3. Guide and mentor students in their research projects and academic pursuits.
4. Participate in the development of curriculum and academic programs in Control Systems.
5. Supervise and evaluate student projects and assignments.
6. Conduct research in Control Systems and publish papers in peer-reviewed international journals.
7. Participate in academic and professional associations related to Control Systems.
8. Engage in departmental and university-level administrative activities as required.
PG Class Profile
================
The selected candidate will be expected to teach master-level courses in Control Systems, such as Control Systems Theory, Control Systems Laboratory, and Control Systems Projects. The candidate will also be responsible for guiding students in their research projects, including project planning, execution, and presentation. The candidate is expected to have a strong background in Control Systems and experience in teaching and research.
Required Qualifications
=====================
1. PhD in Control Systems or a related field with a minimum of 55% marks.
2. NET/SLET in Control Systems or a related field.
3. Strong research background with publications in peer-reviewed international journals.
4. Teaching experience of at least 3 years in a university or college.
5. Good communication and interpersonal skills.

The selected candidate will be expected to maintain a high API score, which is essential for career advancement and promotion. The candidate is expected to stay updated with the latest developments in Control Systems and participate in professional development activities.
Salary and Benefits
==================
The salary for this position will be Rs.40,000 - Rs.70,000 per month, as per UGC norms. The candidate will also be eligible for allowances and benefits as per UGC regulations and state government rules.
