What You Will Do
As an ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR in our Department of Law, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Teaching and mentoring students in Criminal Law courses, including lectures, tutorials, and seminars.
- Conducting research in the field of Criminal Law, with a focus on publishing papers in reputable academic journals.
- Supervising Ph.D. students and guiding them in their research projects.
- Collaborating with other faculty members on research projects and publishing joint papers.
- Evaluating student performance and providing feedback.
- Participating in departmental and university-level committees.
- Developing and updating course materials, including syllabi and study guides.
- Building relationships with industry partners and external organizations to enhance the department's reputation.
Required Qualifications
To be eligible for this position, you must possess a Ph.D. in a relevant field, such as Law or Criminology. A post-doctoral research experience is preferred. In addition, you must have a strong background in teaching and research, with a proven track record of publications in reputable academic journals. Candidates who have cleared the UGC-NET examination with a Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) will be given preference.
