Develop and deliver advanced modules on network security, ethical hacking, cryptography, and digital forensics. Evaluate student performance through assignments, projects, and examinations. Mentor students in research projects, internships, and placement preparation. Collaborate with industry partners to bring real-world case studies into classroom teaching.
Engage in curriculum development for new and existing cyber security programs at Jecrc University. Participate in academic committees and contribute to university-level initiatives. Promote cyber security awareness through seminars, webinars, and outreach programs in Jaipur and surrounding regions.
Postgraduate Students
Guide master’s level students in their dissertation and project work in specialized areas of cyber security. Supervise research on emerging threats, penetration testing, and secure coding practices. Encourage students to publish findings in peer-reviewed journals and present at national conferences.
Support students in securing internships with leading IT firms in Rajasthan and beyond. Organize guest lectures by cyber security professionals to bridge academic learning with industry needs. Assist students in preparing for certifications like CEH, CISSP, and CompTIA Security+.
Required Qualifications
Ph.D. in Cyber Security, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related field with a minimum of 55% marks. NET/SLET qualified candidates will be preferred if Ph.D. is not yet completed, subject to UGC norms.
Minimum 3 years of teaching experience in cyber security or related areas at a recognized university or institution. Publications in peer-reviewed journals and participation in national or international conferences are essential.
Experience in curriculum design, lab setup, and industry-academia collaboration is desirable. Familiarity with tools like Wireshark, Metasploit, Burp Suite, and SIEM platforms will be advantageous.
