Key Responsibilities
As an ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR in Data Structures, you will be responsible for:
- Teaching undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Data Structures, including algorithms, data structures, and software engineering.
- Conducting research in Data Structures and related areas, with a focus on publication in top-tier journals and conferences.
- Supervising Ph.D. students and guiding their research in Data Structures.
- Collaborating with faculty members from other departments on interdisciplinary research projects.
- Developing and implementing new curricula and pedagogical methods in Data Structures.
- Participating in departmental and university-level committees and initiatives.
- Engaging in industry collaborations and knowledge transfer activities.
- Mentoring junior faculty members and graduate students.
- Contributing to the development of research grants and funding proposals.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for this ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR position, you must possess:
- A Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering or a related field from a recognized university.
- A strong research background in Data Structures, with a minimum of 3 years of post-doc experience.
- A good academic record, with a strong publication and research profile.
- UGC-NET with JRF (Junior Research Fellowship) is preferred.
- Experience in teaching and research in a university setting.
