Role Summary:

Day-to-Day Duties:
- Teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Engineering Chemistry
- Conduct research in the field of Engineering Chemistry and publish research papers in reputable journals
- Supervise Ph.D. students and guide them in their research work
- Participate in departmental and university-level committees
- Develop and implement new courses and programs in Engineering Chemistry
- Collaborate with industry partners and government institutions for research projects
- Participate in academic and research activities in the department
- Attend seminars, workshops, and conferences to stay updated with the latest developments in the field
- Perform any other duties assigned by the Head of Department or Vice Chancellor.
Who Can Apply:
The ideal candidate should possess a Ph.D. in Engineering Chemistry or a related field from a recognized university. A postdoctoral research experience is preferred. The candidate should have a strong research background and a proven track record of publishing research papers in reputable journals. The candidate should also be eligible for UGC-NET with JRF.
Research & Publications:
The candidate is expected to conduct research in the field of Engineering Chemistry and publish research papers in reputable journals. The candidate should also be able to secure research grants from government institutions and industry partners. The candidate is expected to collaborate with other faculty members and researchers in the department to develop new research projects.
Research Leadership:
The candidate is expected to guide doctoral students in their research work and evaluate their thesis. The candidate should also be able to develop and implement new courses and programs in Engineering Chemistry.
Perks and Pay:
The selected candidate will be offered a salary of Rs.45,000 - Rs.70,000 per month, as per UGC norms. The candidate will also be eligible for research grants and other benefits as per university regulations. The candidate will be provided with a research assistant and other support staff to help in their research work.
