What You Will Do
- Teach undergraduate and postgraduate students in Environmental Law, including core and elective courses.
- Develop and implement new courses in Environmental Law, aligned with the University's curriculum requirements.
- Conduct research in Environmental Law, publish papers in peer-reviewed journals, and present at conferences.
- Supervise postgraduate students in their research projects, guiding them in the preparation of theses and dissertations.
- Participate in the development of academic policies and procedures, contributing to the growth and development of the Department of Environmental Law.
- Collaborate with faculty members from other departments to develop interdisciplinary courses and research projects.
- Contribute to the administrative and academic leadership of the University, serving on committees and task forces as required.
- Engage in community outreach and extension activities, promoting the University's commitment to environmental sustainability and social responsibility.
Postgraduate Students
As an ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR in Environmental Law, you will be responsible for teaching and guiding master level courses, including research methods, environmental law and policy, and sustainable development. You will also supervise postgraduate students in their research projects, guiding them in the preparation of theses and dissertations.
Eligibility Criteria
- A Ph.D. in Environmental Law or a related field with a minimum of 55% marks.
- UGC NET or SLET qualifications, or a Ph.D. with publications in peer-reviewed journals.
- A strong record of research and teaching experience, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a university or college setting.
