ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR - Fluid Mechanics Vacancy in Jaipur is open at Jecrc University for full-time faculty. Key Responsibilities
Teach core and elective courses in Fluid Mechanics for B.Tech and M.Tech programs at Jecrc University. Design and deliver lectures, tutorials, and lab sessions with practical industry relevance. Develop course materials, lab manuals, and assessment strategies aligned with UGC and AICTE norms.
Supervise B.Tech and M.Tech projects in fluid dynamics, turbulence modeling, and computational fluid dynamics. Guide students in research publications, thesis writing, and participation in national conferences. Maintain updated laboratory facilities for hands-on experiments in fluid mechanics.
Coordinate with industry partners for internships, workshops, and sponsored projects. Organize seminars, guest lectures, and industrial visits to bridge academia and practice. Contribute to departmental committees for accreditation and curriculum enhancement.
Master Level Teaching
Teach specialized master-level courses such as Advanced Fluid Mechanics, Turbulence Modeling, and Computational Fluid Dynamics. Supervise M.Tech dissertations with a focus on applied research and innovation. Encourage students to publish in peer-reviewed journals indexed in Scopus or Web of Science.
Engage in funded research projects under DST, CSIR, or industry sponsorship. Collaborate with national and international institutions for joint research and exchange programs. Promote interdisciplinary projects linking fluid mechanics with energy systems, aerospace, and environmental engineering.
Eligibility Criteria
Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering with specialization in Fluid Mechanics from a recognized university. Minimum 55% marks in Ph.D. and postgraduate degrees as per UGC norms. NET/SLET qualified or equivalent, with exceptions as per UGC regulations.
Minimum 3 years of teaching experience in Fluid Mechanics at university level. Demonstrated research output with publications in SCI/SCIE journals. Active participation in professional bodies like ASME, AIAA, or national fluid mechanics symposia.
Learning and Development
Maintain a minimum Academic Performance Indicator (API) score of 100 for promotion and career advancement. Attend faculty development programs, workshops, and refresher courses regularly. Contribute to curriculum design and outcome-based education initiatives at Jecrc University.

What You Get
